As a result of a decade of experience, at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu we have conceptualize health as a global, integral and holistic aspect that depends on many variables, which we have to train, coordinate and take care of in order to reach an equilibrium. This equilibrium represents the best potential state of health for each one of us (for children, young people, adults and also the elderly). We have grouped these variables under a concept that we call Health 360º, divided in which in six great areas: Health and security, nutrition; physical activity; living in society; development and learning and emotional health.
From this concept, the hospital has generated different initiatives aimed at different audiences: to the professionals and the entire network of collaborators of the hospital, to the families and patients of the hospital itself, and also to the citizens as a whole, with special emphasis on families, teachers and other health professionals.
